FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid

SENIOR STUDENTS: January you will begin doing your student aid. If you decided to do the fafsa online, please stop by Mrs. Stewart's office for a fafsa worksheet. I SUGGEST TO COMPLETE THE FINANCIAL AID ONLINE, FOR RESULTS ARE QUICKER!!!!!!

 

  Backyard Scholarship

Check: Credit Unions, Parent’s Organizations, Parent’s Employer, Church or Religious Organizations, Community Organizations, Local City Council Members and State Representatives Might Have a Scholarship Fund, Bookstores, Librarian

 

  Texas Grant Certification

Completed the Recommended or Distinguished Program, Financial Need, has Applied for Financial Aid, Enrolls at least ¼  Time in an Undergraduate Degree or Certificate Program, Enrolled at Lease 12 Hours a Semester

Check with the Financial Aid Office of the institution you which you are applying.

Texas Grant II Certification

For Texas Residents, Must Demonstrate Financial Need, Must Register for the Selective Service or be Exempt From This Requirement, Must not be Eligible for an Award Through the Original TEXAS Grant Program, Must be Enrolled at Least ½ Time (6 semester credit hours) in an Associate’s Degree or Certificate Program at a Public Two-Year College in Texas,  Must not Have Been Granted an Associate’s or a Baccalaureate Degree, Must Not Have Been Convicted of a Felony or a Crime Involving a Controlled Substance, Amount of Award Varies Based on the Student’s Tuition and Fees
