Purpose of Organization:

To teach awareness of recycling and conservation.

Tuesdays, twice per month, PM

-Texas Recycles Day, November
-Earth Day / Arbor Day, Spring
-Plastic Bottle and Aluminum Can Recycling in Staff Workrooms
-Paper Recycling is available at bins at the football stadium and at the high school campus.

Other Information:

Paper recycling continues to be beneficial:  for the last 4 years of paper recycling on our high school campus and in the community, we have saved at least 3000 trees. Last year (06-07) Project Earth provided $1000 in Senior Scholarships for continuing education.  Project Earth coordinated the Planting Event in the Spring of 2007 at the High School Campus, planting over 50 trees, shrubs, and flowers.
