2008-2009
– Forty two teachers, including music,
physical education and technology; 12 paraprofessionals, one librarian, one
speech therapist, and a nurse shared with WJH, served 661 students.
The administrative team was Scott Lowell, Principal; Angie Davis, Assistant Principal;
Andy McGovern, Instructional Facilitator; and Kristi Sims, Counselor.
2007-2008
– Forty teachers and eleven paraprofessionals served
approximately 670 students per year.
Technology equipment was a priority. 1st-4th received new teacher
computers and 3-4 student workstations. Kindergarten was given a total
of 4 computers in each of their classrooms. Eighteen carts containing a
projector, document camera, and computer were purchased for teacher
use in the classrooms.

2005-2006

The campus implemented a dual language program starting in Kindergarten.

– Forty teachers, eleven paraprofessionals, and support staff served
approximately 550 students. The campus had a 25-computer lab with
presentation station, video-conferencing capabilities, and a small multi-use
lab for keyboarding and extension activities. After school programs and
before-school tutoring were offered. Scott Lowell was principal and Pura
Gonzalez was assistant principal. 2000-2001
– Thirty-two teachers, twelve special area teachers, and twenty-one
paraprofessionals served approximately 620 students. There were bilingual

– Twenty-five classroom teachers, thirteen special area teachers, and twenty
paraprofessionals served approximately 550 students. The campus had a YMCA
day care program and an afternoon care program. Marilyn Bird was the
principal and Charles Van Wright was assistant principal. 1998-1999
– District growth and the completion of a new high school resulted in a
realignment of grade levels. Fourth graders were re-located to Jones Middle
School and RRE consisted of Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 3. Twenty-four
classroom teachers, twelve special area teachers, and nineteen
paraprofessionals served 538 students. Marilyn Bird was principal and
Charles Van Wright was assistant principal. 1997-1998
– Twenty-seven teachers, fourteen special area teachers, and twenty-three
paraprofessionals served 650 students in Pre-K through Grade 4. Marilyn Bird
was the principal and Pat Day was assistant principal. 1991
– The fifth grade was moved to Jones Intermediate School. 1985 – Roberts
Road Elementary opened on November 11 as the second Waller ISD elementary
school. Twenty-six teachers and sixteen staff members served approximately
439 students in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Mary Jo Booker was principal. |
