Kelly Baehren was named Waller High School Principal in July, 2004. Mrs. Baehren came to Waller ISD in July 2001 as the WHS Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction. She had previously served as a Social Studies teacher, Head Varsity Softball coach, and Freshman Girls Basketball Coach at Alief Elsik High School; and Instructional Specialist and Assistant Principal at Alief Elsik Ninth Grade Center. Mrs. Baehren, who is the daughter of Roger and Mary Lou Winklemann and the late Lynette Winkelman, is a native of Brenham, Texas, and a graduate of Brenham High School. She received a B.A. degree in Political Science from Texas Lutheran College and a Masters of Education and Mid-management Certification from Houston Baptist University. Mrs. Baehren is married to Scott Baehren, a professor at Blinn College in Brenham. The couple has two young daughters. |
