Waller ISD Maintenance Department employee Kinino Martinez works on the new parking lot and sidewalk at Waller Junior High on May 6. This is the first project funded by the successful passage of an $18.95 million WISD bond package on February 7.

WISD Maintenance Employees Gabe Espinoza and Kinino Martinez pour concrete at the new WISD Administration Building. WISD Maintenance Employee Mark Sanders does a tall welding job at the Waller High School  baseball field. WISD Maintenance Employee Jody Davis, the District's "key and lock man", makes a key in his shop at department headquarters on Daugherty Street. WISD Custodial Supervisor Israel Tamez is also responsible for a number of related maintenance jobs.

Maintenance Department Employees Howard Bennett and Gary Rollins install electrical wiring in the district's new Administration Building. Maintenance Department Supervisor Melvin Stokely, who is in charge of all of WISD grounds keeping, is also responsible for all extermination and delivery services across the district. Maintenance Department Supervisor Leonard Treichel, who is responsible for all WISD air-conditioning and electrical services, also works in new construction and other needed areas.
