The
Waller High School Lady Bulldog Volleyball team defeated Kingwood Park
(15-25, 25-21, 26-24, 16-25, 15-11) on Saturday, November 7, securing
the area championship.

consecutive football game Friday night by defeating the
Lockhart Lions 28-7. Waller will play Dayton in the Area
round of the playoffs on November 21st.

A “Give back to the
community – let’s keep it clean!” community service project brought the
Waller Junior High’s “Boyz to Men” club together on a cold, drizzling
Saturday morning.

Over 400 people attended the Evelyn Turlington
Elementary School dedication and open house on
Sunday, October 11th. The community
joined together to express their appreciation for
the many years that school namesake, Evelyn
Turlington, has dedicated to the Waller ISD
community.

Waller High School Fights Against Cancer

Waller High School presented a check for $375 to
the American Cancer Society “Relay for
Life--Waller” that was collected from the sale
of “Bulldog for the Cure” t-shirts.
The t-shirts were sold during Breast Cancer
Awareness Month, October, and is one way that
Waller High School is taking a stance towards
the fight against cancer.
