School Supplies
Drive benefiting Waller ISD
Prairie View
A&M University’s radio station, 91.3 FM held a school supplies drive and
live broadcast Friday, Aug. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hempstead’s
Wal-Mart. The drive benefited both Waller and Hempstead Independent
School District’s. Above, Jones Elementary School Principal Carol Bates
(center), accepts a donation from sisters, Jennifer Miller (left) and
Paula Miller (right). All Waller ISD principal’s were in attendance at
the event. Half of the donated supplies were delivered to Waller ISD
Aug. 4 at the conclusion of the drive. They where were then divided
between all seven Waller ISD campuses and delivered Aug. 7. |
