WJH unveils first ever “Unity” step team. March 7 Waller Junior High (WJH) made history with the unveiling of its first ever step team.  The “Unity” steppers entertained fellow WJH students with high stepping, foot stomping, precision stepping. The team began rehearsing in Jan. and has done a tremendous amount of work since then. These young men and women are led by JorDaShe Atchison and Lynette Durant. Atchison is currently a WJH substitute teachers and Durant is currently a WJH student teacher from PVAMU. Their hard work with these WJH students is amazing. The “Unity” steppers are currently working on a new show sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta that will debut March 29 at WJH.
