WISD Special Olympians win big in
track & field
Waller ISD Special Olympians
won four medals at the Montgomery ISD Track & Field Meet on March 23, and
eleven medals and two ribbons at the Aldine ISD Track & Field Meet on
April 1.
At Montgomery, Andrew Beltran won a Gold Medal in the
50 Meter Run and a Gold Medal in the Softball Throw. Shaun Fletcher won a
Gold Medal in the 50 Meter Run and a Silver Medal in the Softball Throw.
At Aldine, Adam Draper won a Gold Medal in the 50 Meter
Run and a Gold Medal in the Softball Throw. Matthew Johnson won a Gold
Medal in the 50 Meter Run and a Bronze Medal in the Softball Throw.
Charles Taylor won a Gold Medal in the 1500 Meter Run and a fifth place
ribbon in the Softball Throw. Mary Cohea won a fifth place ribbon in the
50 Meter Run and a Bronze Medal in the Softball Throw. Arian Copeland won
a silver Medal in the 50 Meter Run and a fourth place ribbon in the
Softball Throw. Kimberly Graham won a Gold Medal in the 50 Meter Run and a
Silver Medal in the Softball Throw. Dillon DeClue won a Silver Medal in
the 50 Meter Walk and a Bronze Medal in the Softball Throw. |
