WHS Varsity Lady Bulldogs Softball wins District Opener 1-0

March 5 Waller High School’s Lady Bulldog varsity softball team held its season opener against the Willis Wildkats at Bulldog Stadium. The opener also marked Parents’ Night as the Lady ‘Dogs presented their parents with thank you cards and letters expressing their gratitude for their love and support.
     The game came down to a battle of the pitchers which WHS senior Kelsi Loewe won by earning 11 strikeouts. The ladies came out on top with a single run scored in the fifth inning.
     They WHS Lady Bulldogs next home game will be March 11 at 7 p.m. against Huntsville. March 11 will also mark Little League Night. Please come out and support this group of young ladies!
