JES PE teacher finds
sponsor for TOT
Three years ago, Jones Elementary
School (JES) physical education teacher Peggy Holz saw a demonstration
of TOT (Teams of Tomorrow) while attending the annual Texas Association
for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance convention and
thought the program would be fun and exciting for her students. Every
year since she has returned to the convention and learned more about the
program. Excited, she set out to find a corporate sponsor and found SEC
Energy Products and Services, LP (SEC) based in Houston, co-founded by
Waller ISD Board President Bo Pierce. The company has generously agreed
to sponsor the program at JES.
Students at JES are excited to begin TOT, an innovative and new
physical education program which is a creative ball-handling and
dribbling program for elementary students, thanks to the SEC donation.
After going through the lessons, students will be ready to “strut
their stuff” as they perform at different community events. For more
information on the TOT program, visit their website at
teamsoftomorrow.com. |

Jan. 18, Bo Pierce,
co-founder of SEC Energy Products and Services (SEC), showed up and
Jones Elementary School (JES) to give a gift to physical education
teacher Peggy Holz. Holz looked for a company to sponsor the Teams of
Tomorrow (TOT) program at JES and found SEC. (Pictured) JES students
