Mobile Dentist will visit Waller ISD March 17-19
Waller ISD
will host Mobile Dentist for grades prekindergarten through eighth grade
March 17-19. Signing up your children to see the Mobile Dentist is an easy
and convenient way to get necessary preventative dental care.
Mobile Dentists is a team consisting of a dentist, hygienist, and
dental assistant. They will visits all WISD elementary schools, Schultz
Middle School, and Waller Junior High and set up a mini dentist’s office to
provide exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, x-rays, and
sealants. Children who return completed permission forms will receive some
or all of these services
If you want your child to see the dentist just fill out the permission
slip and return it to your school. Permission forms will be sent home with
your child and MUST be returned to their school no later than Feb. 20.
Mobile Dentist will visit Fields Store Elementary and Holleman
Elementary March 17; Jones Elementary March 18; and Roberts Road Elementary,
Schultz Middle School, and Waller Junior High March 19.
The program provides grants to families who require full financial
assistance and subsidizes fee for those who need financial aid. No child is
ever turned away by Mobile Dentists/Smile Programs because of financial
need. Mobile Dentists/Smile Program meets all state dental examination
requirements.
