Waller ISD Teachers Share Wealth of Knowledge
Waller ISD administrators and teachers gathered
together during a two-day Waller ISD Staff
Development symposium. Over 270 sessions, with
32 teachers in each session, were offered to all
of the Waller ISD teachers and instructional
staff. Each participant selected workshop
sessions that were of interest to them. A
assortment of workshop topics were presented
such as “Hook, Line and Sinker - Gaining your
student attention and getting them excited”,
“Connecting the Dots with Art”, and “MP3s and
MP4s in the Bilingual/Dual Language Classroom”
just to name a few.
Presenters share a wealth of knowledge in each
session to help expand the attendee’s knowledge
and skills. Waller High School teacher, Chris
Donalson, said “I’m gaining a ton of knowledge.
These sessions are very beneficial. They will
help me in my content area and will provide new
ideas and strategies we can use in our
classrooms”.
