WHS Homecoming 2009 September 25th
Come join the Waller ISD bulldog fans at the
September 25th Waller High School 2009
Homecoming. The Waller High School Varsity Bulldogs
vs. Magnolia Bulldogs football game will begin at
7:30 p.m. at the new Waller ISD Stadium, 20735
Stokes Road. Congratulations to the the Homecoming
Court 2009. Homecoming Queen Candidates are Breanna
Brittian, Camille Brown, Beverly Carthern, Karly
Crawford, Charley Lauder, Brittany Moody, Amanda
Parmer, Stephanie Ramirez, and Patricia Rodriguez.
The Homecoming Queen will be announced at the
football game halftime. Homecoming King Candidates
are Tyler Bain, Joseph Cardona, Will Garcia, Jordan
Ondijo, and Miller Pierce. Class of 2011 Homecoming
Duchess Candidates are Janeth Hernandez, Tabitha
Jackson, Camille Payne, Samantha Sessum, and Duchess
Michelle Shriver. The Class of 2011 Duke Candidates
are Paul Fritsching, Jordon Gooden, Glenn Hill, Jose
Perez, and Chad Pflughaupt. Class of 2012 Duchess
Candidates are Mandy Hegemeyer, Yesenia Hernandez,
Aries Jones, Hanna Oehl, and Duchess Kaylon White.
Class of 2012 Duke Candidates are Tanner Holley,
Jonathan Huerta, Eric Huffman, Alfredo Jimenez, and
Jose Vargas. Class of 2013 Duchess Candidates are
Rayme Brooks, Elsie Lopez, Andrea Mandujano, Dakota
Schiel, and Duchess Mia Houle. Class of 2013 Duke
Candidates are Joshua Cunningham, Connor DeAngelo,
Desmond Jordan, Bobby McCoy, and Juan Tamez-Leal.
The fun begins all week long Monday, September 21
through Friday, September 25th. On
homecoming week Monday, the theme for the day is
“Team up with the real “Big Dogs” and the
Sports/Jersey Day. Cup stacking contests will be
held during lunch. On Tuesday, The theme is “How
great it is to be a twin!” where students will dress
for Twin Day. Hoola hoops and spoon twin
competitions will be held during lunch. On
Wednesday, the theme is “Senior Nerd Day”. 12th
graders will dress as nerds and all other grade
levels will wear black clothing. The lunch activity
for the day will be cycle ride for 12th
graders, and musical chairs for 9th – 11th
grades. On Thursday, the theme for the day is “Eat
‘em Up”. Students will dress for Class Color Day.
9th graders will wear green, 10th
graders yellow, 11th graders blue, and 12th
graders red. A pie eating contest will take place
during the lunch period. On Friday, game day, the
theme is “Fun Friday” and the dress theme is Spirit
Day/Maroon Out. Tug O War competitions will be held
during lunch periods. On Friday at 2:15 p.m., a
school pep rally will be held in the Waller High
School gymnasium. The pep rally theme is Reality
TV-Spirited. The Homecoming King and Dukes will be
announced at the pep rally.
Join in on the homecoming float decorating that will
take place after school dismissal. At 5:15 p.m.,
the homecoming parade will line up in front of
Waller High School’s Fine Arts parking lot. The
parade will depart at 5:45 p.m. from the Waller High
School parking lot onto the Waller Spring Creek
access road that leads into the new Waller ISD
Stadium. Come to the Home side parking lot to take
part in the spirit rally to cheer on the bulldogs!
The Homecoming Dance will be held in the Waller High
School Cafeteria from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. Pre-sale
tickets must be purchased at Waller High School.
Tickets will not be sold at the door.
The Homecoming Parade is sponsored by the Waller
