WISD Helps Pre-School Students Learn Bus Safety

Waller ISD teamed up with Feels Like Home Daycare Center to help familiarize 4 year old pre-school students with the big yellow school bus.  The school bus was one of the many transportation modes that the students learned in class during the week.   A Waller ISD school bus visited the daycare and held a brief bus safety lesson for the students.  The pre-school students loaded onto the bus and sat in the seat while they listened to the school bus driver.  She taught them bottom-to-bottom (sit in the seat), back-to-back (sit back in the seat), keep your hands to yourself, keeps hands inside the windows, keep feet out of the aisle, and always pay attention to the driver.
