Waller ISD Board Approves Construction Repairs and Improvements

     WALLER ISD-During a Special Called Board Meeting on October 6, 2008, the Waller ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve Wayne C. Schultz Middle (SMS) School Renovation Project pricing from Gamma Construction.  Marc Lam, SHW Group, explained the criteria used in evaluating the contractors that submitted project bids.  SMS Renovation Project pre-construction meetings begin on October 16.
    
     Consent Agenda items approved were additional plumbing for the existing field-house, WJH East Campus roof repair, district stadium replacement lighting, Stewart Contract change order and amendment for stadium construction, and adopting a resolution that recognizes Waller County Texas 4-H Organization as adjunct staff members.  The resolution approved will count students participating in the programs’ educational activities “in attendance” for Foundation School Program purposes for 2008-2009 school year.

     Important date noted was the October 13, 2008 Board Meeting
