NAMES FOR WALLER ISD MEMORIAL

Waller ISD is seeking additional information of military members killed in action (KIA), prisoner of war (POW), missing in action (MIA), or have died as a result of a combat related injury.  The following are names Waller ISD has collected of those have who attended Waller ISD High Schools:  J. C. Choate, William (Billy Bob) Garrett, Mack O. Garrett, Robert L. Hand, Baldwin Kulhanek, Louis (Louie) Polausky, Eddie Schmidt, Earl R. Sparberry Jr.

The design phase for a memorial for the fallen heros is currently underway.  The memorial will be dedicated at the new Waller ISD Stadium Grand Opening event on August 28th.  If you know someone or a family member who may fit into one of these categories, we would like to hear from you.

These service members could have served in WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, and or one of the Desert Storm/Desert Shield/Iraqi/Afghanistan conflicts.
