Purpose of Organization:	TAFE encourages students to learn about careers in education and assists them in exploring the teaching profession while promoting character, service, and leadership skills necessary for becoming effective educators.

Meetings:	Meetings are held every other Wednesday at 6:50 am and 2:50 pm in room 122
Events:	Monthly Staff Appreciation Activities Regional Conference State Convention Visiting colleges Leadership workshop TAFE workday to prepare and make teacher materials
Other Information:	Scholarship monies are available to some students entering the teaching profession who meet the criteria. Students that achieve a certain level of points within the organization will be honored at graduation by wearing special graduation cords.
