Mr. Twardowski became
the Waller ISD Assistant Superintendent for Administration in June
2002. He had served as the principal of Waller High
School since May 1997.
He came to Waller ISD with 20 years experience in
education, all in the Spring Independent School District. From 1993-1997
he was the principal of that district’s 1003-student Wells Middle
School, and prior to 1993, he served Spring ISD as a coach, a teacher of
physical education and business, and as an assistant principal at
Westfield High School where he was responsible for that school’s 850
ninth-grade students. Mr. Twardowski was later named Assistant Athletic
Director for the Spring district which included 14 elementary schools,
four junior high schools, and two high schools. He remained in that
position for two years before being appointed principal at Wells.
A native of Highlands, Texas, Mr. Twardowski
graduated from Baytown Sterling High School and received an Associate
Degree of Arts in Business Administration from Blinn College. He received
a B.S. degree in Physical Education from Texas Christian University and a
Masters Degree in Education Administration from Sam Houston State College.
Mr. Twardowski is married and the father of three
children who are students in Waller ISD.
